Candler School of Theology is offering a spring conference, The Singing Church: Current Practices and Emerging Trends in Congregational Song, March 19-21. The conference will combine plenary sessions, worship (with lots of singing in many styles, from many cultures) workshops and a special evening with John Bell, internationally known song writer and leader of congregational song. This ecumenical line-up of leaders includes: Carlton Young, Don Saliers, Jimmie Abbington, Tom Long, Tony Alonso, Mary Louise Bringle, Mark Mummery, Dolores Dufner and others.
