Children's Activities - Celebration Day at Camp Lookout

Camp Lookout will host their annual Celebration day on August 7 at Camp Lookout.  Activities start at 3 pm.  Bring clothes for swimming.  Hot dog dinner at 5:30 pm.

Outreach Opportunity - Bethlehem Center Walk of Blessings

The Bethlehem Center in Chattanooga is holding a 3 mile "Community Walk of Blessings" on Saturday August 27 at 8 am.  If you would like to walk and pray and participate in this event please contact Ruth Stanley for details.

All Day Singing

Our annual All Day Singing will be held on Sunday, August 14, at the 11 am worship hour.  We will have a covered dish meal following.  After the meal we will spend the afternoon singing.  If you you or someone you know would like to provide special music, please contact the pastor or HA McKaig.

No Senior Luncheons in July

There will be no senior luncheons in July.

No Sunday Night Bible Study in the month of July

We will have no Sunday night Bible studies in the month of July.  We will continue having Wednesday night Bible studies.

Health Team and Lay Leadership Joint Meeting

The Health team and Lay leadership team will have a joint meeting on Thursday July 21 at 7 pm in the fellowship hall. 

UMW Yard Sale

The UMW yard sale will be August 4-6.  The UMW is collecting items for the yard sale.  Please check your garage, closets, kitchen cabinets and attics to see if you have any items to donate.  The money collected will be used to purchase food to serve at our free Senior Lunches.  If you have large items that need to picked up please call Shirley (398-3002) or Barbara (718-2374).

Women's Devotional

There will be a woman's devotional on Wednesday mornings at 8am in the Sunday school building.

Deaf Conference

Anyone wanting to assist Michele Kouns in going to a deaf conference at Lake Junaluska, please write her name on the memo line of a check and place it in the offering plate or give it to our treasurer.

Help Needed

The Citizen's group scheduling volunteer teams to re-build,has a out-of-town work team coming in Saturday July 9th to begin rebuilding a house,and they need a "community representative " to be with them on that day to help them know where places are at here (building supply ,etc) .
This is something that would be very helpful to a group that is good enough to come and help.
If you can be that person on Saturday July 9th,Please email me and I will get you on the schedule.
